UPSC EPFO EO/ AO Exam Pattern 2025

UPSC EPFO Enforcement Officers examination 2025 will be held for 300 marks, out of 300 marks written examination will be held for 200 while interview will be held for 100 marks. There will be negative marking and 1/3 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer, while 2.5marks  will be given for each correct answer. 

  • The test will be objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers
  • The total duration of the exam is two hours
  • The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English
  • All questions will carry equal marks
  • 1/3 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
  • If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question

UPSC EPFO Selection Process 2025

The candidates will be selected for the UPSC EPFO Enforcement Officers 2025 Examination on the basis of their performance in the written exam and interview. The total marks in the written examination are 300, while the interview is for 100 marks. The UPSC EPFO written examination will be held offline, and the candidates who qualify written test will be eligible for the interview round. In the interview, general candidates have to score at least 50 marks, while OBC candidates have to score a minimum of 45 marks, and SC/ST/PH candidates have to get a minimum of 40 marks.

UPSC EPFO Interview

The UPSC EPFO interview stage is conducted for the candidates who are declared qualified in the written exam. There is no syllabus for the Interview round, but candidates must be well prepared with , Personality & Communication Skills, Job Role Awareness (EPFO-specific), Current Affairs & Socio-Economic Issues, and Background-based Questions (Education/Work/Optional). The weightage of marks for the Interview is 100 i.e. 25% of the total marks.
