तमिलनाडु सरकार ने तमिलनाडु मुफ्त लैपटॉप योजना शुरू की है; इस योजना के तहत सरकार अपने हाई स्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट उत्तीर्ण छात्रों को अच्छे अंकों के साथ मुफ्त लैपटॉप वितरित करेगी। कुल रु। 6,000 करोड़ सरकार द्वारा पारित किए गए हैं, कुल 68 लाख लैपटॉप इस योजना के तहत वितरित किए जाएंगे। लैपटॉप का बाजार मूल्य 25,000 रुपये है |
