Eligibility ->>
Nationality ->>
A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India; or
A subject of Nepal; or
A subject of Bhutan; or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to
India, before the 1st January, 1962, with the decision of permanently settling
in India
For Indian Economic Service
->> A candidate
for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in
Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a University
incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India
For Indian Statistical Service
->> A candidate
for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with
Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or
a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from
a University incorporated by an Act of the Central.
Age Limit ->>
Minimum 21 & maximum age is 30
years.
Physical Standards ->> Aspirants are required to be physically fit according to
the physical standard for admission to Indian Economic Service/Indian
Statistical Service Examination.
Application Fee ->>
Candidates are required to pay an
amount of Rs.200/- in concern to the application fees.
Female/SC/ST/PH candidates are
exempted from payment of fee.
Mode to Submit the Amount ->> Candidates need to pay the fee
either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net
banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of
Hyderabad /State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore
or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be purely based on
their qualifying marks in UPSC IES/ISS Exam and Interview.
