IAF Group Y Recruitment Rally

Indian Air Force (IAF) proposals chances for unmarried male Indian Citizens from designated districts of state of Gujarat, Union Territory Of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli to join as Airmen. Indian Air Force Recruitment Test for Group „Y‟ (Non-Technical) [for Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police) only] Trades will be held at Vir Savarkar Indoor sports Stadium, Race Course Road, Rajkot and SAMA Indoor Stadium, New Sama, Vadodara as per the Selection Programme given below.

Exam/ Rally venue will be open from 0600h-1000h and the exams will be conducted as per the information given below. Applicants (from designated districts of Gujarat and UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli only as per schedule given below) fulfilling the domicile requirements & eligibility conditions and reporting at the Rally Venue.

Eligible and talented applicants are advised to give their most of the time to the preparation of test because competition is very difficult to crack for upcoming selection rounds. For the post of Airman

Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Indian Air Force (Security) [IAF(S)]} Trade

Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) [for Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police) only] Trades

Education Qualification ->> Applicants must have pass Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Boards recognized/affiliated by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) will only be permitted.

Age Limit ->> Candidates who are applying for this Jobs should be born between 13-01-1998 and 27-06-2001 (both days inclusive) for Indian Air Force Rally. Applicants having age below than 18 years of age are to get the Consent form filled and signed by their parent/guardian. Applicants having age of 18 years and above can sign the consent form themselves

Pay Band ->> For this Rally vacancy successfully selected candidate will obtain satisfied amount of stipend that is Rs. 14,600/- during training period and after the completion of training, shortlisted candidates will get Rs. 26,900/- pm plus Dearness allowance. Other allowances such as Transport Allowance, Composite Personal Maintenance Allowance, Leave Ration Allowance, Children Education Allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen.

Selection Process ->> Selection of candidates for this Recruitment Rally will be done on the basis of following rounds that will be conducted to screen the eligible candidates.

Verification of Eligibility ->> First of all applicants will be screened on the basis of eligibility that will include educational criteria, age criteria and others will further called for Physical Fitness Test on scheduled dates.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) ->>

This round consists of a 1.6 Km run which candidates have to complete it within 5 minutes 40 seconds.

Candidates need to complete 08 Chin-ups, 20 Bent-Knee Sit-ups and 20 Push-ups (plank type) to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.

Written Test ->>

Qualified candidates in IAF PFT round will further called for Written Test which is basically objective type.

Question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper and candidates will get 45 minutes to complete the said exam.

Results of the written test will be declared on the same day.

Adaptability Test-1 ->> Qualified contenders in Written Test will have to undertake Adaptability Test-1, through which officials will judge suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.

Adaptability Test-2 ->> All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-1 will have to undertake Adaptability Test-2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

Dynamic Factor Test (DFT) ->> Selected job appliers from Adaptability Test-II will have to undertake Dynamic Factor Test to assess the required qualities to function as IAF (Security) in Indian Air Force.

Medical Examination ->>

(a) General Medical Standards are as follows ->>

Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm

Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.

Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisperfrom a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.

Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.

(b) Height, Leg Length, Visual Standards and Colour Vision are as follows ->>

How to Attend IAF Rally ->>

To appear in IAF Recruitment Rally, applicants are informed that they need to appear in rally according to their districts and have to bring original documents with them on specific date which is given below.

Candidates have to bring Original Passing Certificates and Mark sheets of all Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent Examination Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet
