The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (प्रोफेसर जयशंकर तेलंगाना राज्य कृषि विश्वविद्यालय) is a state agriculture university, which was separated from the central Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University in the year two thousand fourteen as a result of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The university was installed on twelve June nineteen sixty four, with O. Pulla Reddy as the first vice-chancellor. The organization was formally inaugurated on twenty March nineteen sixty five, by Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of India in Hyderabad.
