Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) North Eastern Region (NER) is inviting online applications from eligible candidates with Nationality/ Citizenship as indicated under Para-6 of this Notice for filling up thirteen (13) vacancies for the posts of Senior Research Assistant, Senior Technical Assistant, ACIO Grade-I (Documents), Conservation Assistant, Junior Conservation Assistant and Field-cum-Laboratory Attendant. SSCNER Application form of eligible candidates must be submitted on or before the last date.

Education Qualification ->>

For Senior Assistant and ACIO Grade-I Position ->> Masters Degree in relevant field from recognized university or institute with good records. Also, appliers must have experience in their respective field.

For Conservation Assistant, Junior Conservation Assistant and Field-cum-Laboratory Attendant Position ->> minimum 10th pass or have done Diploma from well known board or institute.

Application Fee ->> Candidates have to pay examination fee to appear in SSC examination. Amount of fee is Rs. 100/- and that is to be paid through “SBI Net-Banking, Credit Cards / Debit Cards of all Banks” or through SBI Challan Form. Fee paid through any other mode will NOT be accepted. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Fee should be paid separately for each category of post applied.

All Women and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Examination. Screened of aspirants will be done for Computer Based Examination on the basis of marks in Essential Qualifications as indicated by them in their application. Candidates will be shortlisted by applying suitable cut off in the percentage of marks, in multiples of five. The number of candidates shortlisted may be slightly more or less due to the criteria of applying cut off in multiples of five.

Examination Scheme ->> Computer Based Examination will consist of objective type questions and answers. On every wrong answer 0.50 marks will be deducted. Detail description of SSC Exam pattern is mentioned below candidates can check the SSC syllabus and prepare for SSC NER examination according to it.
