The organization has been setup under the final orders and decision of the Narmada Water Disputes Tribunal as a machinery for implementation of its directions and decision. The authority started functioning from 20-12-1980.

Required Qualification ->> Applicants must have pass 10th/ 12th/ Degree/ ITI Certificate/ Diploma/ Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with good academic records.
Applicants should have a speed of 80/ 40 wpm in English Shorthand and typing respectively or Speed of 60/25 wpm in Hindi Shorthand and typing respectively for Stenographer.

Age Limit ->> Minimum age is 18 years.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Written Test/ Typing Test and Personal Interview.
