Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the posts of Project-linked Research/ Technical Associate and Data Centre Manager on a purely temporary basis to work on a multi-institutional project "Multi-dimensional Research to Enable Systems Medicine: Acceleration using a Cluster Approach" funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India before the last date.

Indian Statistical Institute (भारतीय सांख्यिकी संस्थान) is an academic institute of national importance as recognised by a nineteen fifty nine act of the Indian parliament. Indian Statistical Institute grew out of the Statistical Laboratory (सांख्यिकी प्रयोगशाला) set up by Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in Presidency College, Kolkata.

Required Qualification ->> 

Project-linked Research/ Technical Associate ->>

(1) M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology, or Masters in Statistics/Mathematics or related areas.

(2) Good skill in high level programming language.

(3) Good skill in handling and managing high performance computing system.

Data Centre Manager ->>

(1) B.E/ B.Tech or M.Sc. or MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology or related fields.

(2) Good skill in high level and system level programming.

(3) Minimum three years experience in IT or related project.

(4) Working knowledge of system administration, preferably in Linux server based systems as well as hardware systems.

Age Limit ->> Maximum age is 40 years for Project-linked Research/ Technical Associate & 45 years for Data Centre Manager.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Written Test and/or Interview.
