Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) Mohali is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the posts of Scientist 'F' (Functional designation - Professor 'F') & Scientist 'E' (Functional designation-Associate Professor).

The Institute of Nano Science and Technology Mohali is an autonomous institution of division of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under the Society Registration Act, nineteen sixteen. Under the umbrella of National Mission on Nano Science and Technology (NANO MISSION), which aims to promote growth and outreach of nanoscience and technology to benefit the country, INST has been set up to undertake research and generate products/devices and technology in the area of Nanoscience and Technology.

Qualification and Experience->>

Scientist 'F' ->

(1) Doctorate degree in Natural/ Agricultural/ Engineering/ Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/ Technology. In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.

(2) Desirable - At-least 06 years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD. High quality publications, Patents filed / granted, PhD students guided.

(3) Experience of 12 years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institutions.

Scientist ‘E’ –>

(1) Doctorate degree in Natural/ Agricultural/ Engineering/ Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/Technology. In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.

(2) Desirable - At-least 04 years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD, high quality publications, Patents filed / granted, PhD students guided.

(3) Experience of 10 years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institution.

₹ 500/- (non-refundable) shall be submitted by each candidate in the shape of RTGS/NEFT or by Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali (payable either at Mohali or at Chandigarh) along with application in the prescribed form. No other mode of application fee is acceptable. Women candidates, persons belonging to SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities will be exempted from the payment of application fee. Regular employees of INST applying for higher position will also be exempted.
