The library has thirty five branches across the state.  The Library was established on twenty seven October nineteen fifty one as a pilot project sponsored by UNESCO and the Government of India.

Education Qualification ->>

(1) Senior Secondary (Matric with 12th Class) Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ Institute.

(2) Certificate/ Diploma in Library and Information Science from a recognized Institute.

Age Limit ->> Maximum age is 25 Years.

Salary Details ->> Selected candidates will get Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-.
