Applicants
should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher
for I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II) as given in
Official Information Bulletin.
AP TET
Notification:
Applicants
who are pursuing final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized
by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, and / or the Language Pandit
Training Courses, during the academic year 2012-2013 can also appear for the
APTET Exam.
Age
Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years

candidates will be paid a good amount of salary from Andhra Pradesh Public Service
Commission.

Process:
Selection
will be made on the basis of a applicant’s performance in Written Examination
and Interview.
APTET Exam Pattern:
All questions in APTET will be Multiple Choice
Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which
one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. The Written test
Comprises of Paper-I and Paper-II.
1. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
2. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
3. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Medium of Question Paper:
The question paper shall be bilingual i.e., it shall be
English followed by the Language I chosen for all languages except for
Sanskrit. For Sanskrit it shall be Telugu followed by Sanskrit.

Marks Memo / Certificate Validity
Period:
The Marks Memo/Certificate of APTET shall be made available on APTET website
only. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for
acquiring APTET Certificate. A person who has qualified APTET may also appear
again for improving his/her score. In accordance with the NCTE guidelines the
APTET certificate shall be valid for a period of seven years from the date of
examination
Note:
Physically Handicapped with at least 40% handicap only
will be considered in respect of Visually Handicapped and Orthopedically
Handicapped. With regard to Hearing Impaired, minimum 75% handicap will be
considered under PH category.

All
applicants have to pay Rs. 250/- for the application form.
