IRCTC Start Passenger Insurance:

Includes passenger insurance and unreserved ticketing had launching On Friday by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation.

Passenger insurance in this year very shortly will start by Arun Kumar Manocha Chairman and Managing director of IRCTC in Mumbai and he reminded that they had passed a letter for 03 companies that were selected/ shortlisted.

This is well news for passenger that the insurance will cost less than two rupees per a trip with a sum insured amount of ten lakh rupees”. Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation is going to launch latest Passenger Insurance and Unreserved Ticketing. Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation also introduced paying for digital payments via the State Bank of India mobile wallet Buddy. 

On the day of Friday IRCTC and SBI agreed and tied up for this digital payment. As public (region) Sector is undertaking of the Railways, which runs catering, tourism, and Internet ticketing activities.

Manocha said that IRCTC does work with lots of institutions such as private and public sector and institute of Central Food Technological research, an institute of hotel management, Catering, and Nutrition”. It also wants to expansion the initiative in additional regions for railway ticketing activities.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation E-Wallet

The Corporation is civilizing the android app for cancellation and refund procedure of the e-ticket. Indian Railway Catering &Tourism Corporation is planning to invite its own e-wallet in a renewed form. E-Wallet will be launched through Dussehra or Diwali most probably in the month of October.

Manocha said that there was no failure in card payment hardly it is of two to three percent. Therefore, by looking card payment, we are launching e-Wallet by expect the same result in the renewed form. It will be free for 1st three months by linking PAN card at present later it will also add the link of Aadhaar card very shortly.
