IIT Bombay has published CEED online Application Form. Common Entrance Exam for Design is a qualifying examination for giving admission in to Master of Design (M.Des.) programmes at IIT Kanpur, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Guwahati, IISc. Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, and PhD programmes in Design at specific Institutes. IIT Bombay Common entrance examination for design will be held in the month of December at various exam centers.

IIT Bombay is a public engineering and research institution located in Powai, Mumbai, India. In the QS World University Rankings two thousand fourteen, The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay was ranked as India’s top university. It is the second-oldest (after IIT Kharagpur) institute of the Indian Institutes of Technology system.  The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay was founded in nineteen fifty eight. In nineteen sixty one, the Parliament decreed IITs as Institutes of National Importance.

A high-power committee of Government of India recommended in nineteen forty four establishment of four higher institutes of technology to set the direction for the development of technical education in the country. Planning for the Institute at Mumbai began in nineteen fifty seven and the first batch of one hundred students was admitted in nineteen fifty eight. Since its establishment in Powai, the institute has physically expanded (शारीरिक रूप से विस्तार किया) to include more than five hundred eighty four major buildings (प्रमुख इमारतों) with a combined area of more than 2.396 gross square feet (five hundred fifty acres or 2.22 km²).
