The Reserve bank of India has published notification regarding RBI Scholarship for the faculty member. Candidates must have only citizen of
India. There are 05 No. Of Scholarship so eligible candidates can apply offline for receive RBI Scholarship.

By Reserve bank of India (RBI) Faculty Scholarship, association is inviting applications from full-time faculty members to undertake short duration research in the areas of monetary and financial economics, banking, real sector issues etc areas of interest to the Reserve Bank of India. Eligibility Criteria for RBI Scholarship:

Candidates must have Indian Citizen & Full-time faculty teaching economics and or finance in any UGC-recognized Universities or Colleges in India

Age Limit:

Age of the applying candidates must have below 55 years.

Objective of Scheme:

Motive of this fellowship is to boost awareness about the activities of the Bank amongst faculty members and student community, and Second main is to offer exposure to faculty members teaching economics or finance in different areas/activities in the Reserve Bank.

Monthly Remunerations:

Candidates will get Scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- for the duration of the project and also provide restricted economy class domestic air-fare ticket during visits to RBI Central Office, Mumbai from place of residence/work in India & in addition to the monthly remuneration, on completion of the Project/ Research paper and on acceptance of the same by RBI, payment of Rs. 1 lakh as honorarium would be made.

Selection Process:

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of –         

• Research proposal of not more than 1000 words
• Curriculum vitae
• Interview by a selection panel

• Candidates have to required visit the official site of the RBI that is - www.rbi.org.in
• Candidates should select “Opportunities@RBI” link that is bottom side of homepage.
• Select “Scholarships” tab from menu bar & press on the “Scholarship Scheme for Faculty Members from Academic Institutions” link.
• Now candidates need to download the application form.
• Fill up the application form in prescribed format along with important info.
• Attach Xerox copies of all essential certificates/ documents, detailed curriculum vitae and the research proposal.
