M.Tech admissions to the National Institute of
Technology, Silchar are conducted through the CCMT Registration. Centralised
Counselling for M.Tech/M.Plan was held by National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.
GATE qualified appliers can apply online for CCMT Registration to take
admissions in the M.Tech programmes at the National Institute of Technology,
Silchar and few CFTIs.

CCMT Online Registration
Dear students should know that CCMT will conduct for
take admission in Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/M.Plan (CCMT) of NITK
Surathkal. Dear candidates can apply for CCMT by sending the online application
form before last date so applicants must apply start for CCMT.
The CCMT is being the common admission procedure to
take admissions in the M.Tech/M.Plan courses at the twenty nine National
Institutes of Technology and eleven Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.
CCMT is being operated by National Institute of
Technology, Karnataka, Surathkal. CCMT was operated by National Institute of
Technology Rourkela in this year. CCMT was organized by Malaviya National Institute
of Technology, Jaipur to enable eligible appliers who have passed in GATE examination
to apply for the M.Tech programmes at the National Institute of Technology,
Silchar via a common process.

Changes incorporated in CCMT:
- New participating institutes that joined in - PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh , IIITD&M Kancheepuram and NIT Uttarakhand have joined in the centralized counseling
- Fresh registration is required for National Spot Round with an advance deposit of Rs.42,000/- (OC/OB) or Rs.11,500/- (SC/ST/PwD), which is not refundable on allotment of seat.
- NSR will consist of payment of non-refundable (if alloted a seat) advance submit of Rs. 40,000 and advance document verification.
- Dear appliers are not required to visit RC for document verification and locking of choices during NSR.
Applying applicants must have secured a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10
or 60% marks in the qualifying degree (CGPA of 6/10 or 55% for SC/ST) &
applicant should have valid GATE score.

Procedure
to apply for CCMT:
- Applicants should register online giving their Email ID and info of their GATE examination
- Enter their personal details, academic qualifications and address.
- Deposit the application fee.
- Candidates should enter their choices for M.Tech courses offered and their preferred institutes.
- Take a print out for future use.
CCMT Counselling Process:
- The Counselling is online with seat allotments based on the GATE scores of appliers and the options entered by them.
- All appliers who are allotted a seat will have to first deposit the specified initial fee online or via SBI Echallan.
- Now they candidates will have to personally report to any one of the “Reporting Centers” or “|Allotted Institute" as per the schedule given in the brochure
- They candidates will have to get their original documents verified, submit photocopies of the same documents and proof of the initial fee payment to mark their acceptance of the offer of seat at the reporting centers.
- Candidates may also exercise “upgrade Options” if they so desire.
- Appliers will be announced a Document Verification Note (DVN) after verification of all relevant documents and fee payment,
- Aspirants should pay the balance fee as per the dates specified and print the Provisional Admission letter generated after payment.
- Appliers should report to the allotted institute on the specified dates for final admission and classes.
- They candidates must submit the DVN, Provisional Admission Letter and the payment receipt after reporting.
