Uttar Pradesh Urdu Akademi
This Akademi was founded in January, nineteen seventy
two (1972) for the developing of Language of the Urdu and literature. Uttar
Pradesh Urdu Akademi works for the advantage of the Urdu knowing public via its
schemes like as giving good scholarships to their candidates form class six to
the Ph.D. level; to reprint the classical magazines or books of merit in the
Urdu Language; to give financial assistance to the old and the straitened Urdu
poets, writers, publicists and calligraphers; to hold seminars and symposia on
the current & latest topics about encouragement of Urdu language and its
literature. Besides, the Akademi organizes Annual Mushair on opportunity of
National Festivals.
