Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year conducts entrance examination for admission in National Defense Academy (NDA).
Candidates select in Army, Navy and, Air force on the behalf of NDA. National Defence Academy (NDA) is a government organization.

Its examination is conducted by UPSC. NDA is very popular organization in India. Everyone wish to get select in National Defence Academy (NDA) because of its huge reputation across the world.

Eligible and interested candidates can send application form to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). But its eligibility criteria is very tough. No can easy say that he/she is eligible for NDA.

Eligibility Conditions Applying for NDA:

Its entrance examination is conducted twice in a year. 1st one is conducted in the month of April and another one is conducted in month of August for those candidates who clear 1st one. Candidates get good placement after getting select in National Defense Academy (NDA). It is a proud feeling to be get selected in NDA. Here we telling you the eligibility conditions for applying in NDA. Read them carefully.

Nationality:

Candidates those who have the nationality of the following countries are eligible to apply:-
  • India
  • Bhutan
  • Nepal
  • Tibetan citizens who came to India after before 1st January, 1962.
  • Citizens came from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam but who have the citizenship of India and they should be permanently settled in India.
  • Candidates who belong to (b), (c), (d), and (e) categories need to show an eligibility certificate issued by Indian government. Without that they will not be consider eligible for NDA.

Age Criteria:

Male unmarried candidates those who wish to apply in National Defence Academy (NDA) should be in between 16-20 years.

Educational Conditions:
  • Candidates those who wish to apply for Army wing of National Defence Academy should have cleared 12th class or its equivalent in any subject from any recognized university or board.
  • Candidates those who wish to apply for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and cadet entry scheme should have cleared 12th class or its equivalent with mathematics and physics from any recognized university or board.
  • Those candidates who are currently pursuing in 12th class can also eligible to fill the NDA application form.

Other Things:
  • Candidates those who wish to apply in National Defence Academy (NDA) should be unmarried male candidates.
  • National Defense of Academy (NDA) has already set the physical standards for candidates those who wish to get select. There would be physical test also if you meet those standards you will be taken for further processes and those who could not clear this test have to back home.
