Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET)is conducted by University of Mysore. University of Mysore every year conducts this examination to fill various lecturer vacancies in various institutions of Karnataka. Every year many numbers of people give Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET).

This year Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET)will be conducted in the month of November. Online application forms will start in the first week of July. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and interested in it must apply for this. Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) syllabus and examination pattern: 

Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is conducted in 2 sessions. In 1^st session there will be two examination while in 2^nd session there will be only one examination. In 1^st session each question paper is of 100 marks while in s1nd session question paper will be of 150 marks. Here we will provide you the information of all the three examination which we disclosed above.

Paper- 1: This paper is general paper. This paper consists of total 100 marks. There will be total 60 questions given in the question paper and you have to solve any fifty. Each question is of two marks. In this paper mostly questions are related to reasoning ability. Along with some part also contains the questions of teaching aptitude. Time duration for this examination will be 75 minutes.

Paper- 2: There will be total 50 questions in this paper- 2. All the questions will be of objective type. Candidates will be given a basket of subjects. There are total 32 subjects in the basket and candidates have to select anyone them. This question paper is based on the selected subject. Candidates should select the subject according to their interest because it not be changed once selected. 75 minutes are ordered for this paper.

Paper- 3: In paper-3 there will be total 75 questions related to all the subjects which are given in the subject’s basket which was available in paper-2. Every question contains 2 marks. Candidates must appear in the session 1 examination otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in this examination.
