  • The Exam is of Objective type
  • It consists of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Question paper comprises of 2 papers.
  • Duration of each paper is 2 Hours.
  • Paper 1 consists of General knowledge for 150 marks
  • Paper 2 consists of Law subject for 300 marks
  • There will be negative marking for each wrong answer

It shall comprise four questions as specified below:-

  • This paper will be of 200 marks.
  • There shall be questions of 50 marks in relation to Constitutional Law alone.

  • Law of Partnership,
  • Law concerning easements and torts,
  • Law connecting to transfer of property including the principles of equity, specifically applicable thereto,
  • The principal of Equity with special reference to the Law of trust
  • Specific relief,

Paper No.4: Law II (Procedure and Evidence):
  • This paper will be of 200 marks.
  • Criminal Procedure Code
  • Code of Civil Procedure,
Paper No.5: Law III (Penal, Revenue and Local Laws): 
This paper will be of 200 marks.
  • All the question set be consists of Indian Penal Code,
  • Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act 1951,
  • Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act 1972.
  • P. Municipalities Act,
  • P. Panchayat Raj Act,
  • P. Consolidation of Holdings Act,
  • P. Urban (Planning and Development) Act 1973,
  • Together with rules framed under the aforesaid Acts.
UP PCS Judicial Service Civil Judge Interview Round - Candidates, qualify in Prelims & Mains Exam, you need to appear interview / final round. The interview will be of 100 marks.
