Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC), Old Tourism Complex, M.G.Marg, Gangtok, Sikkim is inviting applications from the eligible local candidates and eligible candidates of Indian Origin for the post of Assistant Professor in the PB-3 of Rs 15600- 39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 6000/- under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim through Direct Recruitment. Applicants who have finally decided to apply for SPSC Jobs and going to fill application form Sikkim PSC Application Form need to submit it before the last date.

Candidates should ensure that they are eligible and qualified on the date of application and their forms are complete in all respect. Application form should be supported by a copy of No Objection Certificate duly attested from the appointing Authority/Head of Department in case of employed candidate in regular establishment. Attested copies of –Class X and XII Mark Sheet and Certificate, Graduate & Masters Degree Mark Sheet/ Degree Certificate awarded by the recognized Institute or equivalent, Certificate of NE (SLET)/NET/SET or Ph.D. (alongwith course certificate), Valid Local Employment Card issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, (for local candidates), Valid Certificate of Identification/Sikkim Subject Certificate (for local andidates), Valid category certificate for BL/ST/OBC-CL/OBC-SL/SC/PT issued by the competent authority and Valid Unmarried Certificate in case of female candidates or in case of married female candidates Husband’s C.O.I. (for local candidates).

Educations Qualification ->> Candidates should possess Masters Degree in respective subjects with 55% marks relaxable by 5% for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled (physically & visually) with NE (SLET)/NET/SET or Ph.D with good academic records and relevant years if experience in related field if necessary.

Age Limit ->> Minimum 21 & maximum age is 40 years for this Recruitment.

Salary ->> Selected candidates will get s. 15600/- to Rs. 39100 with Additional Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/- per month.

Application Fee ->> Applicants need to pay fee of Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’ through original Bank Receipt of State bank of Sikkim. The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Personal Interview.
