CA CPT Registration
The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India invites CA CPT Application Form from those candidates who are willing
to gear up their career as a CA. The Council is published to announce that the
CPT Exam will be held on fix date in two sessions at one hundred
ninety one exam centres in India and 5 centres at abroad. Aspirants have to
fill CA Common Proficiency Test application form before the last date.
Hard copy of CA Common Proficiency Test December Exam Registration Form received after online registration date will not be entertained under any circumstances. Hence, all aspirants are suggested to fill up the CA CPT Exam application form using online till the last date to avoid last minute technical glitches. Applicants need to send the PDF form generated at least three to four days in advance of the last date. The online registrations are ongoing now. Therefore, apply fast!!!As, we all know that CPT Exam is the first level exam of CA which is conducted by organization twice a year i.e. in June and December. Now the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has opened the doorways for those candidates who wish to enter in the Chartered Accountants Career. Eligibility
Criteria ->>
Candidates must have either passed or appeared in the
SSC Exam (10+2 examination) from a board recognized by the Central Government
as equivalent.
Students who have registered for/switched over to
Common Proficiency Course with Board of Studies of ICAI can also apply for CPT
Dec exam.
Students who revalidated his/her registration to Common
Proficiency Course from the concerned Regional Office on or before the 3 years
from the registration date.
Exemption
from Appearing in CPT ->> Candidates who have possessed
Graduation or Post Graduation in Commerce with minimum 55% marks from a
recognized university or those applicants who have completed their Graduation
or Post Graduation other than Commerce stream with minimum 60% marks from a
recognized university are exempted from passing CPT. They can directly apply
for the next level examination of CA.

CPT Exam Pattern ->>
CA CPT December Exam includes multiple choice questions
(objective in nature) in four sections which are given below:
The Common Proficiency Test is a Paper-Pencil (PP) Mode
exam.
Candidates need to get at least 50% marks in the total
of all Sections to clear foundation exam.
There will be negative marking of 1/4 Mark (one fourth)
for each wrong answer.

should have to pay the above mentioned amount of exam fee by using Online
Payment gateway facility with Visa/ Master/ Maestro Credit/ Debit Card.
Applicants should have to pay the fee at the time of
exam registration.
Examination fees once paid will not be repaid under any
conditions.

Online Mode ->>
Visit the official website of Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India that is icaiexam.icai.org
Follow the “Login/ Register” tab and press on “Register
Now” button on the home page.
Thereafter, applicants need to login with their user
name and password If your are existing user.
Fill online Registration Form carefully with all
details and then submit it.
After successful submission, applicants will get their
user name and password through email.
Thereafter, applicants need to login with their user
name and password.
If your Date of Birth shows wrong, then candidates can
register under ‘Provisional Registration’
Fill online application form carefully with all information.
After filling online applications, applicants must have
to pay the exam fee of above given amount.
Aspirants should have to pay the fee via online mode
within given time period.
Take a print out of PDF containing the Barcode Number
and Payment Transaction Details.
Candidates must have to take a print out of filled in
online application form.
If photographs/ signature are not appearing in the pdf
of online application form then affix 2 passport size photographs and sign at
the specific space.
Get it signed by parent/guardian at the specified place
and this application form must be attested by a Chartered Accountant or a
Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/College.
Attach the print out of fee payment with filled in CA
CPT Application Form For December.
In the last step enclose it in an envelope that must be
super scribed as "Online Application Form for Dec CPT Exam" and
send it to the below mentioned address by Speed Post/Registered Post.

Download application form & fill it with your
correct and complete information.
Affix your two passport size photographs on the
specified columns.
After that, make attest this completely filled
application form attested by a CA or a Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/
College.
Attach the print out of PDF containing the Barcode
Number and Payment Transaction Details with duly filled form.
Lastly, cover this application in an envelope super
scribed with "Application for December CPT Exam" and send it to
the address specified below through Speed Post/Registered Post.
