Education Qualification ->>

Professor ->> PG Qualifications, i.e. Master’s Degree in concerned or allied subjects. A Doctorate (Ph.D) Degree. (AND) Minimum 14/ 12 Years teaching experience.

Assistant Professor ->> A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent there to. (AND) 03 Years / 01 Year teaching experience.

Age Limit ->>

Professor ->> 58 years

Assistant Professor ->> 50 years

Pay Band ->>

Professor ->> PB-4: Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP Rs. 10,500/- (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs. 51,600/- with NPA (NPA applicable only to Medical candidates)

Assistant Professor ->> PB-3: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs. 8000/- (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs. 30,000/- with NPA (NPA applicable only to Medical candidates)

Application Fee ->> Rs. 500/- for General (UR) and OBC Category Candidates; Rs. 250/- for SC / ST Category Candidates. There is no fee for PWD Category Candidates. A Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006, towards the examination fee (non-refundable fee).

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in interview.
