Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office Tiruchirappalli at Annai Sathya District Sports Stadium, Thanjavur to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from fourteen districts of TN State which is Perambalur, Ariyalur, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and one district, Karaikal of UT Puducherry in Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Avn & Amn Examiner), Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Tradesman Categories. Applicants will have to apply online only, on the official web site of Indian Army www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Admit card will be issued online. Applicants are requested to bring their call letter/ hall ticket & application at the rally site. Date and time of reporting at rally site will be mentioned on the entry card/ call letter. Education Qualification ->>

Soldier Technical ->> Must Passed 10+2 / Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Soldier Technical (Amn/ Avn) ->> Above or you must have three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering) from a recognized Polytechnic Institution or University.

Soldier General Duty ->> Must possessed 10th with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject

Soldier Nursing Assistant ->> Must passed 10+2/Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 40% marks in compulsory subjects and 50% marks in aggregate. Or must have B.Sc Degree (Botany/Zoology/ Bio Science) and English (simple pass).

Soldier Tradesman ->>

House Keeper, Mess Keeper & Syce ->> Must have 8th class passed

Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood Work), Artisan (Metallurgy), Support Staff(ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades ->> 10th Class Pass/ITI qualification in respective trades

Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical ->> Must have obtained 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate in class XII. You must have studied English and Math/Accts/ Book Keeping in Class XII or class X and should have secured minimum 50% marks.

Note ->> Candidates with 10+2 Vocational Subjects are not eligible for Soldier Technical & Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical categories.

Age Limit ->>

Minimum age is 17 years 6 month.

Pay Band ->> Selected candidates will Rs. 23,000/- per month as per 7th Pay Commission. Along with this, selected individuals will also get allowances as permissible in addition to other facilities such as free ration/ ration money, clothing, medical for self and accommodation, Railway warrant for self and dependents, Group Housing Scheme, Army Group Insurance Scheme of Rs 25, 00, 000/-.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Physical Standards, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Exam.

Tatoo/ Engraving ->> Remember the fact; permanent body tattoos on any part of the body are not allowable except on inner face of forearm i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand.

You have to under this test to get placed under Indian Army Recruitment Rally.

Medical Exam ->> Selected aspirants under Physical Fitness Test will undergo this test. Personals referred to MH at rally site will report to concerned specialist at MH Chennai / CH (AF) Bangalore along with 03 x latest passport size photographs as mentioned in advertisement.

How to Apply ->> Interested applicants who are going to apply Indian Army Recruitment Rally they need to online application form through official website of Indian Army that is www.joinindianarmy.nic.in & attend rally along with all documents with application form.

Documents Obligatory ->>

Contenders need to carry listed documents in original on the day of rally as per programme. Remember, documents should be laminated, arranged properly in a sequence and contained in a file cover along with one set of Photostat copy of each duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his name and seal in English.

SSC Mark Sheet (class X)

Intermediate Mark Sheet (XII).

Degree Mark Sheet and certificate.

Nativity, Community, Caste & Date of Birth Certificate

Transfer certificate in original in ENGLISH.

Character Certificate from Village Sarpanch /Administrative Officer in English. (Not more than six month old)

Study and Conduct Certificate from last education institute in English (Not more than six month old).

Candidates to produce latest automated Nativity, Community and Date of Birth Certificate issued by District Administration of Tamil Nadu / UT of Puducherry in English. (Residence Certificate holders are not allowed to participate in the rally).

Twelve latest coloured 34mm x 45mm passport size photographs not taken earlier than six months with Name and Date of Birth printed on bottom of photographs of the candidates.
