High Court is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Personal Assistant (PA).
The sanctioned judge strength at the time of
creation in two thousand was seven, this was increased to nine in two thousand
thrree. Justice Ashok A. Desai was the inaugural holder of the office. Former
Chief Justices of Uttarakhand S. H. Kapadia and J. S. Khehar later went on to
become Chief Justice of India. K. M. Joseph is the current Chief Justice of the
Uttarakhand High Court. He assumed office on 31-07-2014.

Education Qualification
->>
Applicants must have pass Bachelor's
Degree of a University established by Law in India or a qualification
recognized. Applicants must also have knowledge of English Shorthand and
typewriting with minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English typewriting
and 100 words in English Shorthand dictation per minute.
Preference will be provided to those
applicants who have a good knowledge of Hindi shorthand and typewriting with
minimum speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting and 80 words in Hindi
shorthand dictation per minute and knowledge of Computer Operation.
Age
Limit ->>
Minimum 21 & maximum age is 42 years.
Salary ->> Selected candidates will get Rs. 9300-34800 along with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

For General
and OBC Category Candidates Rs 300/- & for SC & ST candidates ->> Rs
150/- which must enclose a demand draft of any nationalized bank drawn in
favour of Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, payable at Nainital.
Selection
Process ->>
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis
of their performance in practical test (typing test) and written exam.
Candidates, who will declared successful in qualifying the Practical
Test i.e. who will achieve minimum speed of 12000 key-depressions per hour in
English Type-writing and who will be declared qualified in Shorthand Test, will
be eligible to appear in the Written Examination.
Exam
Pattern and Test Details ->>
The written exam will be organized at Nainital. Admit
Card shall be sent to the candidates on their E-mail addresses through E-mail.
There shall be no interview in the selection process.
