The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University had its genesis from establishment of an agricultural school at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, as early as eighteen sixty eight which was later relocated at Coimbatore during nineteen six.

Post Name ->> Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO)

Education Qualification ->>

(1) Must have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination.

(2) Must possess Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; or Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District; or any other institutions under the control of the Director of Agriculture / Horticulture.

(3) Must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Age Limit ->> Minimum age 18 years and maximum age is 30 years

Salary Details ->> Rs. 5200 - 20200 with G.P. Rs. 2800/- per month

Application Fee ->> A Demand Draft (DD) for Rs. 500/- for SC / SC(A) / ST category and ₹ 750/- for others. The DD drawn in favour of "The Comptroller, TNAU, Coimbatore - 641003.
