Government of India Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Eastern Region (ER) D/o Personnel & Training is inviting online applications from eligible candidates with Nationality/ Citizenship as indicated under Para-6 of this Notice for the posts of Research Investigator (Forestry), Senior Scientific Assistant, Senior Radio Technician, Heraldic Assistant, Farm Manager, Scientific Assistant (Mechanical), Scientific Assistant (Electrical), Scientific Assistant (Non-Destructive), Scientific Assistant (Chemical), Handicrafts Promotion Officer, Deputy Ranger and Junior Engineer (Quality Assurance).

The Commission was established in nineteen seventy seven under resolution number 46/1/(S)/74-Estt. (B) Dated 4th November, nineteen seventy five. The mandate of the Commission is to conduct examinations. It makes recruitment in Group ‘C’ & Group ‘B’ Non-gazatted posts in Ministries and Departments of Govt. of India.
