Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad (Haryana State) is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the posts of Staff Officer to Executive Director & Management Assistant.

The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (जैव प्रौद्योगिकी के लिए क्षेत्रीय केंद्र) is an autonomous institution of education, training and research established under the auspices of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and Department of Biotechnology. The Parliament has passed the Regional Centre for Biotechnology Bill, to bestow statutory status to the available institution. The Bill seeks to provide legislative backing to the Regional Centre and also confers upon it the status of an institution of national importance.

Educational Qualification ->>

Staff Officer to Executive Director –>

(1) Post graduate degree in science/technology, Preferably   related to life sciences, having relevant experience of working with Chief Executive of a reputed organisation providing critical Secretarial or administrative support with a total relevant experience of 10 years. (OR)

A Ph.D. degree in life sciences with 03 years of experience in science communications/ office management.

(2) Desirable - A degree/ diploma in business management and experience in project management.

(3) For Deputation - 5 years relevant experience in Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 plus qualification as above.

Management Assistant ->

(1) Graduate with 3 years experience in the office procedures, preferably in a government establishment in the pre-revised scale of GP Rs. 2,800/- or equivalent.

(2) Desirable - Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing and data handling using Excel sheets, and knowledge of government rules and regulations. management from time to  time: personnel, establishment, academics, estate management, cash handling, billing, accounting, purchases, storekeeping, noting & drafting, typing and maintenance of all relevant records.

Age Limit ->>

Staff Officer to Executive Director: 45 Years

Management Assistant: 30 Years

Pay Scale->>

Staff Officer to Executive Director: PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) + Grade Pay Rs. 6600 (pre-revised)

Management Assistant: PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) + Grade Pay Rs, 4200 (pre-revised)

Application Fee ->> A Demand draft (DD) of Rs. 500/- (SC/ ST/ PH applicants are exempted from payment of fees) drawn on State Bank of India payable at Faridabad in favour of the Executive Director, Regional Centre for Biotechnology.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Interview and/ or Skill Test.
