The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science (विज्ञान मंत्रालय) & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, is a premier National Laboratory (प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय प्रयोगशाला) under the organization.

Required Qualification ->> 

Scientist / Senior Scientist ->> Applicants must have pass M.E./ M.Tech or equivalent recognized Post Graduate degree in concerned Engineering Discipline with 02 years experience.

Principal Scientist / Senior Principal Scientist ->> Ph.D (Engineering) in concerned discipline with 3 years experience for Principal Scientist/ 06 Years Experience for Senior Principal Scientist.

Age Limit ->>

Scientist/ Senior Scientist: Scientist - 32 Years for UR, 35 Years for OBC, 37 Years for SC / ST; Senior Scientist - 37 Years for UR, 40 Years for OBC, 42 Years for SC / ST

Senior Scientist (Lateral Entry): 37 Years

Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 45 / 50 Years

Salary Details ->>

Scientist/ Senior Scientist: Rs. 15600 - 39100 + GP Rs. 6600 / 7600

Senior Scientist (Lateral Entry): Rs. 15600 - 39100 + GP Rs. 7600

Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: Rs. 37400 - 67000 + GP Rs. 8700 / Rs. 8900

Application Fee ->> Applicants has to remit application fee of Rs. 500/- (wherever applicable) through Net Banking. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates are exempted from submission of application fee.

Selection Process ->> Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Interview.
