Education Qualification:

Applicants should satisfy the below given eligibility norms.

• Citizen of India and must possess a domicile of Gujarat.
• Qualified from class XII or equivalent exam, recognized by state or central education board.
• Pass the above mentioned exam in science stream.
• Obtain at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

Notice regarding conduct of common entrance test:

• Admission Committee for Professional Courses has announced that GUJCET examination is being incorporated as common entrance test for admission to degree engineering, degree / diploma pharmacy after std XII (science) from admission year onwards.
• For admission, merit list will be prepared by awarding 60% weightage to percentile marks obtained in theory subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology of all four semesters examination of std XI and std XII science conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board in March and 40% weightage to percentile marks obtained in state level GUJCET.
• For admission onwards, merit list will be prepared by awarding 60% weightage to percentile marks obtained in theory subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology of XII science annual examination conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board and 40% weightage to percentile marks obtained in state level GUJCET exam.

Type of Questions:

Multiple choice questions (MCQ), four options given for a question, out of which one option is the correct one.

Language of Question Paper:

The question papers of the examination are in Gujarati, Hindi and English languages.
