Delhi Police Eligibility Criteria For Constable:

Age Limit:

Male Candidates:

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 21 years

Female Candidates:

• Minimum age:18 years
• Maximum age: 21 years
• The relaxation of 5 years is provided to the following:
• Scheduled caste / scheduled tribe candidates
• Sportsmen
• Ex-servicemen

Education Qualification:

Candidates who wish to apply for the post of constable should have cleared the 10th/ 12th class from any recognized board.

Physical Qualification:

Height limitation (male) – the height of the male candidate should be 170 cms. 5 cams relaxation will be provided to the candidates who are of hilly areas such as Garhwali’s ,gurkhas.

Chest (male) -the chest of the male candidate should be 81 -85 cms. The relaxation of 5cms will be provided to the candidates residing in hilly areas and scheduled tribes.

Delhi Police Eligibility Criteria For Head Constable:

The Age limit for the male job seekers to apply online for Delhi Police Head Constable is 18 to 21 years of age and for the female candidates is 18 to 25 years of age. The qualification required for the position of constable is 12th pass and for the position of Head constable is a graduate degree.

Physical Qualification:

Male candidates should be of 170 cm in height and the female candidate should be of 157 cm in height. Male candidate and female candidate race cm will be same that is, 1.6 cm within 0.7 minutes for male and 0.8 minutes for female.

For Male:

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 25 years

For Female:

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 25 years

Educational qualification:

The candidates should have passed class 10th or class 12th or higher secondary or equivalent from a recognized university both for females and males.

Selection process:

• Written exam
• Physical fitness test
• Interview

Physical fitness:

For Male:

• Height should be 170 cms and for reserved category height should be 162.5 cms
• The chest should be 80 -85 and for reserved category chest should be 76-81

For Female:

• Height should be 157 cms. For reserved it should be 150 cms
