Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants who satisfy in all the eligibility norms shown below are eligible to apply for LSAT.

LSAT BA LLB:
Applicants studied class intermediate with a minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Applicants who are studying now in class intermediate are also eligible to apply.

LLB:
Students who hold Bachelors degree from a UGC approved institute and attained 45% are eligible to apply. Students who are undergoing now final year of Bachelors degree also eligible to apply.

LSAT LLM:
Applicants who studied 3 years LLB or 5 years BA LLB and attained 45% marks eligible to apply for attending LSAT.

  • North: Chandigarh, Delhi (NCR), Jaipur, Lucknow
  • South: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi
  • East: Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Raipur, Ranchi
  • West: Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Nagpur

Exam Syllabus and Questions pattern:
  • LSAT India comprises of questions to check logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension skills of candidates.
  • It’s a pen-paper mode exam.
  • Total duration of the exam is 2 Hours and 20 Minutes.
  • There shall be 100 questions in LSAT.
  • There is no negative marking system following in LAST and therefore the candidates should leave no questions unanswered way.

Application Fee:
Registration fee of LSAT is Rs. 3, 800/- payable by credit card or demand draft/ pay order/ banker’s cheque.

Pay Online:
It accepts the payment that only made through VISA and Master cards, issued in India.

Pay Offline:
Students can pay the requisite examination fees through offline methods like demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque. Such a case, the applicants must enter the demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque information online, then get an online acknowledgement and mail the DD/PO/Banker’s cheque to the address shown below.

Demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque should be drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of Pearson India Education Services Private Limited payable at New Delhi or NOIDA. Pearson VUE- India not accepts any other mode of registration other than online.

Admit Card:
  • Students can download the Hall Ticket from its official website of Law School Admission
  • Council after signing-in to their account with Pearson VUE India website.
  • Each of the hall ticket/ admit card consist a Unique Identification Number which is the applicant’s “registration number”.

Note: The authority will not send the admit card/ call letter either by post of email.

Result:
Results of Law School Admission Test will declare on its official website of organization in the month of June. Applicants may view it after entering Login ID and Password. Pearson VUE do not issue rank lists, they pass the results to the Law School Admission Test marks considering law colleges in India. Students who scored high marks will obtain more preference than the applicants scored lowest marks. Participating institutes will shortlist the applicants & later invite them to attend a counseling secession. Finalist names will declare after the counseling process.

How to Apply:
  • Applicants may register for LSAT – India via online mode only.
  • No demand draft will be accepted for Law School Admission Test -India Register online for the LSAT – India entrance test by logging on to lsat.formistry.com. The Law School Admission Test - India registration fee is INR. 3800/-
  • After obtaining the Law School Admission Test -India registration number, the applicants should download/get the applications from the associated college.
  • College admission applications will require applicants to mention their LSAT-India registration number.
  • Applicants should ensure that they write their Law School Admission Test -India registration number at the given place in the Applications of the associated colleges.
  • Applicants who complete the test registration, pay the exam fee in a timely way, and follow published test rules can sit for the LSAT-India.
  • It is the applicants’ responsibility to understand the eligibility requirements of the associated law schools before deciding to register for the LSAT-India
  • The school(s)/program(s) will not consider your Law School Admission Test -India score for admission if you do not complete the applications and pay the application form fee for the program(s) prior to the last application date
