Government of India Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Staff Selection Commission (SSC) North Western Region Chandigarh is inviting online applications from eligible candidates with Nationality/Citizenship as indicated under Para-6 of this Notice for filling up various vacancies for the posts of Assistant Store Keeper, Farm Manager, Technical Operator (Drilling), Handicrafts Promotion Officer, Stockman (Junior Grade), Junior Chemist and Cleaner. Candidates who are interested to get recruitment in North Western Region can apply for SSC NWR recruitment notification and submit SSC NWR online application form.

After filling up the applications online and after making payment of examination Fee, applicant must take a print out of the application form, sign the same, affix a copy of the same photograph used for filling up online application & attach self-attested copies of Certificates/documents in support of age, Essential Qualifications, Experience, where it is prescribed as required qualification, proof of Caste/Category [SC/ST/OBC/PH(PWD)/EXS – in the format as given in the Notice] announced by the Competent Authority and send the same to the Regional Director at the address mentioned below so as to reach the Regional Office within ten days from the closing date.

Educations Qualification ->>

For Assistant Store Keeper, Technical Operator, Stockman and Cleaner Positions ->> 10th or 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from recognized board with good records.

For SSC NWR Farm Manager Recruitment ->> Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from well known institute.

Handicrafts Promotion Officer and Junior Chemist Post ->> Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Fine Arts to get recruited for Handicrafts Promotion Officer position. On the other hand for recruitment towards Junior Chemist position individual should have Master’s degree in Chemistry or Dairy Chemistry or Oil Technology or Food Technology or Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry.

Application Fee ->> To appear in exam, applicants need to pay exam fee of Rs. 100/- via “SBI Net-Banking, Credit Cards/ Debit Cards of all Banks” or through SBI Challan. Fee paid through any other mode will NOT be accepted. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Fee should be paid separately for each category of post applied.

All Women candidates and belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Selection Process ->> Applicants will be shortlisted for Computer Based Exambased on the percentage of marks in Essential Qualifications as indicated by them in their application. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:50, i.e. 50 applicants for every vacancy, subject to availability of sufficient number of eligible candidates. Appliers will be shortlisted by applying suitable cut off in the percentage of marks, in multiples of five. The number of contestants shortlisted may be slightly more or less due to the criteria of applying cut off in multiples of five.

Scheme Of Examination ->> There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective/Multiple Choice Questions, for posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation & above levels. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The details of subjects for Questions, marks and number of Questions subject-wise are given below:
