IPU Counselling Schedule

At the first, dear candidates will appear in IPU Common Entrance Exam (CET) after that exam result will be declared. We are telling you that only IPU Common entrance exam successful students will participate in IPU counselling.

IPU CET Counselling and Allotment Round


Last year, 03 rounds (excluding the spot round) were held for counselling and allotment procedure of IPU Common Entrance test. The information’s of it are published below

I. Fee Payment and Online Registration

Dear students need to deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 1000 only. The fee is non-refundable. The IPU Common Entrance test Counselling procedure will be conducted online and so will be the fee payment. Dae candidates can be pay application fee by the following modes:-

Net Banking:

Deposit the fee in NEFT using login password, transaction password and OT password.

Credit/Debit Card:

Deposit the fee via card by providing details of the card number, expiry date, CVV number, pin number.

Indian Bank challan:

Download and print the challan. Deposit the fee at any branch of Indian Bank

The students check their online fee payment status on the official website of the university and then need to take a hard copy of the online fee confirmation info for future use. In the case, of non-availability of the fee receipt, the appliers may contact the Helpdesk of the University to resolve the problem.

Candidates can open www.ipuadmissions.nic.in to check the online fee payment status. Students paying the fee via a challan must keep a copy of the challan after depositing the fee.

Remember:

The fee payment does not ensure admission.

Process of Online Registration:
  • Go on the official website of the university that is - www.ipuadmissions.nic.in or www.ipu.ac.in
  • Select their course & write their roll no. and enter their password to log in
  • Now, need to fill the bank reference ID after the fee is paid.
  • Once authentication is done, they would be asked to enter personal educational and communication info within the form.
  • Specify a password for the extra login in your account.
  • If the students are not eligible to register, then must report in person to the Helpdesk of the
  • University with their fee submission receipts before the end of the registration procedure.
  • Take print out of the registration form for future use.

Choice Filling and Locking:
  • Login using the name of the course, CET Exam roll number and password
  • Enter the choices of college and courses as per preference
  • Fill as various choices as you want to, as it will ensure that you have maximum chances of the desired allotment
  • Students may edit or modify their choice filling after the allotment of seat in Round 1
  • Take 02 printouts of the registration form (one for submission and one for future use), which will mention the options provided by you as well

Essential Documents  for IPU CET Counselling and Seat Allotment: Appliers are supposed to carry these documents in originals and one set of a photocopy. All the original documents will be returned except hall ticket, character certificate and medical certificate. However, photocopies will be retained. The students who belong to the reserved category as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, DEF, SM and KM they must carry the required documents claiming reservation, in the suitable format and countersigned by the respective authority.

Remember: Only after the completion of the seat allotment in Round 1st and 2nd, the appliers belonging to the OBC category shall report to their designated centres for document verification.

The following documents are required for verification:
  • Date of birth certificate (Class X mark sheet, original and photocopy)
  • Class XII mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • IPU CET admit card
  • Copy of filled in online application form
  • Rank card of CET
  • Certificate for Reservation (if applicable)
  • Allotment letter
  • Receipt of partial payment of fees of Rs.40,000
  • Character certificate from last attended institute
  • Certificate of Medical Fitness for PwD candidates
  • In case, if candidates fail to report to their designated centres for document verification, he/she will be considered for allotment of seat only in the General Category.

II. IPU CET Seat Allotment:
  • To visit the allotment result, login your account and then check Seats will be allotted as per merit list ranking, availability of seat, categorical reservation and withdrawals from the allotment
  • In case, if the seat is allotted, the provisional allotment letter will be available and print it from the site itself
  • Pay the admission fee of Rs.40, 000 after you are satisfied with the allotment and want to freeze the seat
  • Candidates may deposit the fee in any of the modes described above
  • If appliers are not satisfied with the allotment then candidates may apply for the next counselling rounds.
  • It should be noted that there is a possibility that the reserved category seats do not receive filled in the 1st round of allotment. In such case, entire the outstanding seats will be converted to general category seats and allotted to the appliers belonging to the general category.
  • Students who fail to produce relevant certificates of reservations will be counted in the general category as well.

III. Reporting To The College For the Confirmation Of Seat: If you have paid the admission fees (in part) and wishes to confirm the seat allotted to you, it may be done by printing the admission slip and reporting to the allotted college in the time period designated as per the schedule.

Additional stage – IPU CET Open House Counselling: If even after the first and scound round of counselling, few seats will remain vacant an further round will be conduct. This round will be termed as open house counselling round/spot round. The basis of allotment in this round will be the merit list ranking.

Reserved seats for IPU CET Management Quota: For the students who couldn’t receive admission in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University during regular counselling rounds, management quota will bestow a fantastic opportunity for the admission. All the IPU Common Entrance Exam qualified students are able for admission. For this, they have to bestow hall ticket at the IPU Common Entrance Exam Counselling venue itself. However, it should be noted that only B.Tech and B.Arch courses would be available.

IPU CET Counselling Schedule: The schedule of IPU Common Entrance Exam Counselling will be announced after the conclusion of the exam.
