Eligibility ->>
For Army Wing of NDA ->>
Candidates who wish to obtain admission in Army Wing of National Defence should have passed Class 12th with 10+2 pattern or equivalent exam from any recognized Board/University.
For Air Force/ Naval Wings & 10+2 Cadet Entry ->>
Applicants who wish to obtain admission in Air Force/Naval Wings of NDA/10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy should have passed 12th Class with10+2 pattern or equivalent with (Physics and Mathematics) as main subjects from any recognized Board/University.


Age Criteria ->> Candidates who wish to apply for NDA-2 test must not be born before 2nd January, 1999 or after 1st January, 2002.

Nationality ->> A aspirant should either be:-
(i) A citizen of India, or
(ii) A subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) A subject of Nepal, or
(iv) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, UgaNDA, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Other Requirements ->>
Applying aspirant must be male as females candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam.
Candidates must not obtain marry before the completion of training.

NDA 2017 Exam Application Form

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (NAE) (II), 2017 on 10.09.2017, for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for 140th Course and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) starting from 02.07.2018.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (II) 2017 ->

National Defence Academy (NDA) ->> 335 (208 for Army, 55 for Navy and 72 for Air Force)
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) ->> 55

Age Limit ->> Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2002 are eligible.

Educational Qualification ->>
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy -> Matric with 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy -> Matric + 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Application Fee ->> Rs. 100/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ MasterCard/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card. The fee exempted for SC/ST candidates/ Sons of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs.

Candidates who opt for "Pay by Cash" mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of State Bank of India (SBI) Branch on the next working day only. "Pay by Cash" mode option will be deactivated at 23:59 hours of 29-06-2017 i.e. one day before the last date; however, candidates who have generated their Pay-in-slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the last date. Such candidates who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip, will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 6.00 P.M. of 30-06-2017.
