UGC stands for University Grant Commission. It conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET)examination every year for the recruitment teachers in various colleges and universities.USC has been helping India to improve the education level in India. University Grant Commission always recruits best candidates for the various positions in the universities and colleges.

UGC NET Syllabus Overview
there are 3 papers for UGC NET examination. Syllabus for all three examinations are different. Syllabus and question paper pattern for all three examinations are given below:Paper-1 Syllabus: In this paper the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awarenessand teaching aptitude are checked of the candidates. Detailed syllabus for Paper-1 is given in the following table:-

Pattern: There will be total 60 questions in this paper.
All the questions will be objective type. One good thing about this paper is
that candidates need to solve any of the 50 questions.
Paper-2 Syllabus: Candidates need to select the subject for this examination
at the time of filling the application form.
Pattern: This paper consists of 50 objective type
questions (MCQ). Unlike Paper-1 all the questions are compulsory. These
questions are depend on the subject which you have chosen.
Paper-3
Syllabus: Candidates need to select the subject for this
examination at the time of filling the application form.
Pattern:
This question paper consists of completely
descriptive types of questions. All the questions are based on the subject
which you have chosen. There will be total of 70 questions in this paper. All
the questions will be compulsory. Candidates need to explain the topics which
will be given in the paper-3. All the answers should be in predefined words
limit.
